PATRICIA M. HUGHES, age 70 of Cornelia, GA died Monday, July 21, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Hughes was born in Harrison, NJ on May 16, 1938 to the late Francis Crusen and Dorothy Kelly Ruccatano. She was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Porto. Mrs. Hughes was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church. Survivors include husband of 43 years Daniel B. Hughes, Cornelia, GA; daughter, Karen Hughes White, Dallas TX; daughter and son-in-law, Maureen Hughes and Michael Eugene Headrick, Alpharetta, GA; son, Kevin Patrick Hughes, Dallas, TX; sister, Dorothy Cuomo, Newark, NJ; brothers, Joseph Ruccatano, Anthony Ruccatano both of Harrison, NJ; and George Crusen; 6 grandchildren, Mary Patrick White, William Hughes White, Thomas Kelly White all of Dallas, TX, Emma Grace Headrick, Daniel Hughes Headrick, Erin Kate Headrick all of Alpharetta, GA A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the St. Marks Catholic Church with Father Abel Guerrero-Orta presiding. Burial will follow in Hillside Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA.
