Mary Jane West

Mary Jane Cole West, age 91, of Demorest, Georgia went to her heavenly home on Saturday, December 14, 2019. Mrs. West was born on December 16, 1927 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Russell and Annie Kirkpatrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Jack Cole; second husband, Roy West; daughter, Lynda; son, Donald; grandson, Donnie; two sisters, and two brothers; Mrs. West reitred from Wyeth Pharmaceutical with 42 years of loyal and dedicated service. After retirement, Mary volunteered with the Habersham County Medical Center in the Gift Shop for over 20 years. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Ramona Cole, Vonore, TN; sisters, Harriett Kirkpatrick, Punta Gorda, FL; Barbara Hughes, Biloxi, MS; grandsons, Jack Belcher, Ron Belcher, Tim Cole; nine great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Dennis Petty officiating. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the Floral Hills Memory Gardens, 3000 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, Georgia 30084. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the funeral home.
