Joyce Bellamy

Joyce Bellamy, age 82, of Baldwin, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 16, 2020. Mrs. Bellamy was born on July 26, 1937 in Jackson County, Georgia to the late Clyde and Eloise Standridge Payne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Lynn Bellamy; brothers, Monroe Payne, Bobby Payne; and nephew, Morris Payne. Mrs. Bellamy was a member of Baldwin Baptist Church where she was part of the Claude's Sunday School Class. Mrs. Bellamy worked for the Nicolon Corporation as a Manager of Accounting for 15 years. Joyce was known as "MeMe" to her grandchildren, and was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. She loved to spend time on Saturdays going out looking for yard-sales. Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Robert "Bob" Bellamy, of Baldwin; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah "Deb" and Tim Wilbanks, of Commerce; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Debbie Bellamy, of Baldwin; grandchildren, Zach Wilbanks, Matt Wilbanks, Terri Bellamy, Jacob Bellamy, Andrew Bellamy; great-grandchildren, Piper Frankum, Wyatt Frankum, Annabelle Wilbanks, Abram Wilbanks; and several nieces and nephews. Private Graveside Services will be held at the Baldwin City Cemetery with Rev. Terry Rice and Mr. David Sanders officiating.
