Glenda Maple Mccutcheon

Glenda Maple McCutcheon, age 72, of Alto, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023.

Mrs. McCutcheon was born on March 19, 1950 in Riverside, California to the late Tim and Stella Mae Phipps. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 20 years, David McCutcheon; son, Eric Mikel McCutcheon and her grandson, Geoffrey Stafford, Jr.; siblings, JD Burleson; Buster Burleson; Joyce Tibbetts; and Molly Brock.

Glenda was a homemaker, spending her life taking care of her family. She had been employed with Belk in Cornelia for 10 years prior to her retirement. Glenda was of the Christian Faith. She will be remembered as a preciously loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; Glenda was known to her grandchildren as "Nanny".

Survivors include her daughters and their spouses, Melissa Nation and Anthony, of Alto; Tamra Stafford and Jeffrey, of Lake Havasu, AZ; grandchildren, Jacob Goguen, Searra Stafford-Bradshaw, Ashleigh Hightower, Ravyn Hightower, Geoffrey Stafford, III; great-grandchildren, Arya, Talyon, Kai, Styles, and Kierstyn; siblings, Jean Baker, Tim Phipps, and Donna Phipps, all of California.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the funeral home prior to the service.
