Frances Bray Reed

FRANCES BRAY REED, age 82, of Demorest, GA passed away on Friday, March 12, 2010, at a private care facility following an extended illness. Mrs. Reed was born in Commerce, GA on February 11, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Charles Lee and Lucy Ann Leachman Bray. Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Reed, daughter, Sharolyn Reed Griffin, grandson, Ty Reed, sister, Carrie Shore, and brother, Henry Bray. She retired form GA Pacific as a secretary with over 30 years of dedicated service. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Paul Cheplick, LaGrange, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Caren Reed, Social Circle, GA; grandchildren and spouses, Beth and Tim Beasley, Demorest, GA, Daren and Becki Reed, Social Circle, GA, Peyton and Becky Griffin, Homer, GA, and Scott and Christie Reed, Social Circle, GA, grandchildren, Jami Cheplick, LaGrange, GA, and Sydnie Cheplick, LaGrange, GA and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2010, at Alto Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Tim Beasley officiating with eulogies provided by family members. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA.
