Elizabeth Jo Stamps

Elizabeth Jo Stamps, age 74, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023.

Mrs. Stamps was born on May 25, 1948 in Jefferson County, Alabama to the late Everette and Mary Windham Pugh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Stamps; and her daughter, Vernell Stamps. Jo was of the Baptist Faith. She had provided private personal care to Seniors for many years.

Survivors include her step-son, Larry Dean Stamps, of Texas; adopted grandson, Eric Ramirez, of Cornelia; brother, J.W. Pugh; and a number of friends.

Mrs. Stamps' wishes were to be cremated and to be laid to rest beside her husband, Larry and daughter, Vernell.

Memorial Services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m., Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the Cornelia First Baptist Church Sanctuary.
