Dorothy Morris

Mrs. Morris was born on Thursday, July 11th, 1929 to the late Presley and Valley Moore Williams and was a life long resident of Habersham County, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, James Richard Morris; brother, Edwin Williams; and nephew, Jay Williams. She was a member of BC Grant Baptist Church. Dorothy loved her family very much, and was known to her grandchildren as "Grandma".
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Richie and Joyce Morris, of Baldwin; Greg and Kim Morris, of Alto; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Betty Williams, of Baldwin; grandchildren, Sean, Kyle, Emil, Reece; great-grandchildren, Willow and Gabriela; and niece, Gail Williams Welborn.
Mrs. Morris will lie in state from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 11, 2023 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel.
Interment will be held at the BC Grant Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Family of Mrs. Morris will be accepting floral tributes.
