Bonnie Coker Hall

March 29, 1943 — July 8, 2024

Bonnie Coker Hall, age 81, of Mount Airy, Georgia passed away peacefully holding her daughter's hands on Monday, July 8, 2024.

Mrs. Hall was born on March 29, 1943 in Reliance, Tennessee to the late Roy Lee and Letha Poteet Triplett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, James Eugene Coker; God blessed her richly as she had another chance at love with her second husband, Marshall Hall; step-son, Doug Hall; and brothers, David Triplett, Ray Triplett, and R.L. Triplett.

As the founder and owner of Bonnie Coker Realty, she successfully operated her agency for over 30 years, becoming a cornerstone in the real estate community. Bonnie's professional contributions were extensive and impactful. She served as the past president of the Board of Realtors and held multiple positions within the Georgia Association of Realtors, including Regional Vice President, Director, and Chairman. In addition to her professional achievements, Bonnie was deeply involved in her local community. She was an active member of the Habersham Chamber of Commerce and made history as the first female president of the Habersham Rotary Club. Her adventurous spirit shone through when she became the first woman to fly solo and earn her private pilot’s license at the Habersham County Airport. An avid fisherman, Bonnie's love for the outdoors was well-known among her friends and family. She will be remembered for her independence and determination as she often attributed her success to the strength she drew from raising her daughters as a single mother since their teenage years. Her girls were her pride and joy, and she always emphasized the importance of family and faith in her life. A woman of Christian faith, Bonnie touched countless lives through her generosity, kindness, and willingness to help others without seeking recognition. Her stubborn yet caring nature endeared her to many, and her impact she had on many throughout her life will never be forgotten.

Survivors include her loving daughters and son-in-law, Debbie and Talmer Brooks, of Comer; Nokie and Ken Moore, of Mt. Airy; grandson, Darrell Moore, of Wilmington, NC; brother, Floyd Triplett, of Walnut Grove; special nieces, Marie Triplett and Maddison Triplett; and many other nieces and nephews as well.

Bonnie lived her life to the fullest and a gathering to celebrate her life will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel
