Barbara Turner Roberts

Barbara Turner Roberts, age 83, of Cornelia, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 15, 2020. Mrs. Roberts was born on September 23, 1936 in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Guy and Ruth Hembree Turner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Edward Roberts; and her brother, Rev. Charles Bo Turner; and brother-in-law, Bobby Massey. Mrs. Roberts was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cornelia where she was involved with the WMU Program. Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, Roy Earl Roberts, Sr., of Cornelia; daughter, Janet Kinsey and Scott Jenkins, of Demorest; sons and daughters-in-law, Roy "Rob" Roberts, Jr. and Jackie Roberts, of Cornelia; Ron and Carole Roberts, of Mt. Airy; sister, Jeri Massey, of Cornelia; grandchildren, Roy Earl Roberts, III and Haley; Jennifer Burton and Michael; Katie Howard and Jared; Mark Roberts; Mason Kinsey; Garrett Kinsey and 8 great-grandchildren. A Private Graveside Service will be held at the Clarkesville City Cemetery with Dr. David Turner and Rev. Steve Doran officiating.
