Alice Margaret Cooper

Mrs. Alice M. Cooper, age 80 of Alto, Georgia passed away on October 13, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia.

Mrs. Cooper was the daughter to the late Fredrick J. Roy, Jr. and Alice B. Roy of Florida. Alice is preceded in death by her loving husband of 31 years James D. Cooper and her son Roger Whitlock. Surviving siblings are John A. Roy of Va.; Fredrick J. Roy III of WV.; and Linda Montgomery of Fl. She was a mother of six , surviving children three daughters and two son-in-laws Susan & Larry Wilson; Tina Whitlock; Karen & Greg Klausing; two sons and one daughter-in-law Roy & Brandy Whitlock and Ronald Whitlock, as well as thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Cooper was a beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother.

The family will receive friends Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in Mrs. Cooper's honor to St. Jude's Hospital or Boys Town Charity.
