Zella Autry Wilbanks

Zella Autry Wilbanks, age 86, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Mrs. Wilbanks was born on September 2, 1927 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Ernest and Ida Mae Wiley Autry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde F. Wilbanks; daughter, Pilerica Wilbanks; sister, Ernestine Autry Pinochet. Mrs. Wilbanks was a member of Gainesville First United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Riverbend High School and North Georgia College. Mrs. Wilbanks was a retired secretary for The Georgia Forestry Commission with thirty one years of service. Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Tim and Debbie Wilbanks, Commerce, Georgia; grandchildren, Zachary and Brandy Wilbanks, Matthew Wilbanks; great granddaughter, Annabelle Wilbanks. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Homer United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim McLendon and Rev. David Gravitt officiating. Interment will follow in Banks County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2014.
