Zebbie Mann Bush

Zebbie Mann Bush, age 77, of Cornelia, Ga, died Saturday, June 17, 2006, at his residence. Mr. Bush was born on March 8, 1929 in Tallassee, AL. He was a son of the late Zebbie Anderson and Corrie Mann Bush and was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Nell Golden Bush, a sister, Barbara Hulgan, and a son-in-law, Mark Mitchell. Mr. Bush was a graduate of Auburn University. He was a United States Army Korean War veteran. He was a member of the Cornelia First Baptist Church; there he sang in the choir and was a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class. Mr. Bush was retired from Mt. Vernon Mills as a plant manager. Survivors include: his daughter: Martha Mitchell, Gainesville, GA; Daughters and Sons-in-law: Mary and Harvey Schoonmaker, Eatonton, Ga; Nancy and Bob House, Mt. Airy, GA; Son: David Bush, Cleveland, GA; Sons and Daughters-in-law: Phillip and Joyce Bush, Abbeville, SC; Damon and Pamela Bush, Cornelia, GA; Sisters: Martha Chambliss, Tallassee, AL; Helen Franklin, Orange Park, FL; Brothers: John Bush, Bessemer, AL; James Bush, Tallassee, AL; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, with Rev. Steve Doran officiating. Entombment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday.
