Woody Monroe English

WOODY MONROE ENGLISH, age 75, of Homer, Georgia passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013. Mr. English was born in Banks County, Georgia on September 24, 1938; son to Blattice Sisk English of Homer, and the late Floyd C. English. Mr. English was a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula, GA and was the owner and operator of Four Seasons Fishing Guide Service. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. Mr. English was a retired store manager with Home Depot with 30 years of service and was formerly employed with Toccoa Casket Company. In addition to his mother he was survived by his daughter, Tammy English Merry, Toccoa; sons, Terry English, Toccoa, Treavor English, Toccoa; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Debbie English, Toccoa; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Randall Holbrooks, Demorest; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Kathy English, Homer, Wayne and Maevrie English, Demorest, Lamar and Robin English, Homer; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2013 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Gene Todd officiating. Interment will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
