ARRANGEMENTS ARE IN THE CARE OF WHITFIELD FUNERAL HOME, SOUTH CHAPEL, BALDWIN, GEORGIA. WINNIE HART ECHOLS, age 86, of Clermont, GA, died Friday, June 30, 2006 at her residence. Mrs. Echols was born on August 1, 1919 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Will and Josephine Dodd Hart. She was preceded in death by sisters, Lucille Ferguson and Marcelle Hart as well as brothers, Achie Hart and Nathaniel Hart. Mrs. Echols was retired from Wrigley's with 11 years of service and was formerly employed by Warren Featherbone for 20 years. She was a member of the Yonah Congregational Holiness Church. Survivors include: her husband, Edward E. Echols, Clermont, GA; Daughters and Sons-in-law: Brenda and Fred Masters, Lula, GA; Pam and James Beasley, Clermont, GA; Sisters: Ruth Underwood, Lula, GA; Hazel Crumley, Atlanta, GA; Brothers: Row Hart, Lula, GA; Lionel Hart, Cornelia, GA; Grady Hart, Lula, GA; Kenneth Hart, Cornelia, GA; 6 grandchildren: Eddie Everette, Michelle Lee, Jeremy Cape, Brandon Cape, Josh Beasley, and Ryan Beasley; 3 great-grandchildren: Alan Armour, Emilie Lee, and Caley Beasley. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, 2006 from the Yonah CH Church with Rev. John Umberhant and Rev. Lester Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday. Mrs. Echols will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday to lie in state until the funeral hour.
