Wilma Dill

Wilma Dill, age 86, of Mount Airy, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 2, 2020. Ms. Dill was born on May 27, 1934 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Andrew and Emmie Gibby Dill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by his sisters, Frances Dill, Grace Dill Clark, Ruth Dill Alexander; brothers, James Dill, Robert Dill, and Lewis Dill. She worked 12 years for Chicopee Manufacturing. She then worked and retired from Coats and Clark with 35 years of service. Ms. Dill was a member of Hazel Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her sister, Blanche Dill, of Mount Airy; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 5, 2020 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Billy Burrell and Rev. Tony Goss officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., Sunday, July 5, 2020 at the funeral home prior to the service.
