Willie Ruth Hill Davis

WILLIE RUTH DAVIS, age 90, of Birmingham AL, formerly of Clarkesville, GA passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Mrs. Davis was born in Mt. Airy, GA on February 28, 1919, to the late William Roy and Pearl Ellener Meadors Hill. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Tunerville, GA and retired from the Belk's Corporation. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Laura Ellen and William Harres, Trussville, AL; 2 grandchildren, April Tiffany Cole and Caitlin Noelle Harres and 1 great-grandchildren, Savanna Harres. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Virgil Vickers. The family will receive friends from 9:00 - 10:30 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA just before the graveside service.
