WILLIAM P. "BILL" CREAMER, age 76, of Toccoa, GA, died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Creamer was born on July 14, 1930 in Westchester, CT to the late Leo and Cecilia Masterson Creamer. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, John Creamer, Bobby Creamer, and Jimmy Creamer as well as sisters, Alice Antice and Mary Jane Creamer. Mr. Creamer was a United States Army Korean Conflict veteran. He was retired from Wal-Mart with 8 years of service. Survivors include: his wife: Myrtle Swayze Creamer, Toccoa, GA; his daughters: Susan Fanning, Savannah, GA; Nancy Shapiro, Henderson, NV; his sons: Billy Creamer, Jr., Gettenburg, NJ; David Creamer, Villa Rica, GA; Eddie Creamer, Duluth, GA; Frank Creamer, North Bend, WA; Edward Swayze, Nashville, TN; his sister: Jeanie Haight, Boston, MA; his brothers: Frank Creamer and Leo Creamer, Jr. both of Greenwich, CT; 21 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2007 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin with Rev. Vaughn Howington officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Lane Cemetery, Toccoa, GA with military honors provided by the Rabun County DAV Chapter #15 and the Habersham County American Legion Post #84.
