William G. "Speck" Crawford

William G. "Speck" Crawford, age 63, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016. Mr. Crawford was born on August 17, 1952 in Hall County, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dupree C. Crawford, Sr. and Mary Louise McMillan Crawford; sisters, Betty Ann Woodall, Mary Susan Tanksley; brothers, Grady G. Crawford, and Mike Crawford. Mr. Crawford was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include sisters, Melinda Bennett, of Gainesville; Martha Crawford, of Cornelia; Becky Andrews, of Baldwin; brothers, Rodger Crawford, of Gainesville; Dupree Crawford, Jr.; of Homer; Spot Crawford, of Cornelia; and Eddie Crawford, of Baldwin. Memorial Services are scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Phillip Yarber officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the service hour at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2016.
