William "Buck" Arnold

WILLIAM "BUCK" ARNOLD, age 84, of Baldwin, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Buck was born in Banks County on March 17, 1928. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Elsie Wilson Arnold, daughter, Elise Christine Arnold, step-sons, John, Billy, Frank, Donald, and Richard Ambrose, step-daughter, Nell Ambrose Davidson and a brother, Jim Arnold. Buck retired from the Turner Lumber Company and was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. Survivors include his step-daughters and spouses, Kathleen and Spanky Baugh, Lula, GA and Marilyn and Douglas Simpson, Toccoa, GA; step-son and spouse, Rupert and Mari Ambrose, Eau Claire, WI, 19 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Mickey Umbehant and Rev. Odis Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in the Demorest City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
