William F. Brown

WILLIAM F. BROWN, age 72, of Cave Spring, Georgia, formerly of Habersham County, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013. Mr. Brown was born on August 4, 1940, in Jackson County, Georgia, to the late John Wesley and Sadie Beck Brown. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Junior and Leon Brown and his sister, Patricia Long. Mr. Brown was a retired master electrician. Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Ruby Tench Brown, Cave Spring, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Russell Henry, Mableton, GA and Lynn and Mark Bailey, Knoxville, TN; sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Minnie Brown, Demorest, GA and Darrell and Pam Brown, Cedartown, GA; brothers, Edward Brown, Acworth, GA and Charles Brown, Dalton, GA; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Evans, Dianne Henry, and Lynn Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2013, and from 12-2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
