William "Bill" Joseph Brown

William "Bill" Brown, age 79 of Clarkesville, GA died Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at an area medical center. Mr. Brown was born in Habersham County, GA on September 14, 1928 to the late Joseph Elmo and Louise Hood Brown. He was a long time business man and a member of Clarkesville Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Sara Ann Brown, Clarkesville, GA, son & daughter-in-law, Joe and Karin Brown, Harrogate, TN, brother, Elmo "Buck" Brown, Chattanooga, TN, two grandchildren, Alexandria Brown, & Meredith Brown, both of Harrogate, TN. Funeral services will be held at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA at 2pm Friday, February 22, 2008 with Rev. Grady Walden officiating. Burial will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, from 6-8pm, Thursday, February 21, 2008.
