Willene Durham Osborn

Willene Durham Osborn, age 78, of Homer, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Mrs. Osborn was born on April 18, 1938 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Fletcher and Merle Ayers Durham. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Terry Willard Osborn; sisters, Annelle Durham, Majell Halford; brothers, Jack Durham, Clinton Durham and J. D. Durham. Mrs. Osborn was a member of Nails Creek Baptist Church and attended Charity Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Willard H. Osborn, Homer, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Susie Osborn, Homer, GA; sons, Cecil Osborn, Homer, GA, Anthony Osborn, Homer, GA; sisters, Evelyn Mitchell, Anderson, SC, Celeste Wilson, Thomasville, GA, Joyce Barrett, Snellville, GA; brothers, Dwight Durham, Carrollton, GA, Maxwell Durham, Cornelia; Five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Charity Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Nails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Duane Eller officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel.
