Wilfrido Xicara

WILFRIDO XICARA, age 80, of Cornelia, GA, died Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness. Mr. Xicara was born on October 16, 1926 in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala to the late Rigoberto Xicara and Juana Pac de Xicara. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sol Maria Xicara. Mr. Xicara was a retired Chef and attended Cornelia First Baptist Church. Survivors include: 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, from the Cornelia First Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Walton officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour on Sunday. ARRANGEMENTS ARE IN THE CARE OF WHITFIELD FUNERAL HOME, SOUTH CHAPEL, BALDWIN, GEORGIA.
