Wesley Glenn Martin

Wesley Glenn Martin, age 59, of Alto, Georgia passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2011. Mr. Martin was born in Hall County, Georgia on August 11, 1952. He is the son of Dorothy Ervin Martin Garner, and the late Rufus Noah Martin. Mr. Martin was a member of Living Mission United Methodist Church. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Dorothy Ervin Martin Garner and Paul Garner, Alto, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patti and Cecil Worley, Homer, GA and Carol and Dale Carter, Lula, GA; step-sister, Tammy Murray, Cornelia, GA; step-sister and step-brother-in-law, Jean and Kerry Collins, Gainesville, GA; brother, David Martin, Alto, GA; step-brother and step-sister-in-law, Timmy and Sandra Garner, Lula, GA; 12 nieces and nephews; and 5 great nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2011, from Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA with Pastor Deron Crocker officiating. Burial will follow in the Living Mission United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Billy Nipper officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2011, from Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA.
