Wayne Alfred Brown

Wayne Alfred Brown, age 55, of Hollingsworth, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 surrounded by family and friends. Mr. Brown was born on July 13, 1961 in Commerce, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Reba Nell Clark Brown; paternal grandparents, William and Lula Gailey Brown; maternal grandparents, Winfred and Eva Mae Wade Clark. Mr. Brown was a 1979 Graduate of Banks County High School. He was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church and also a member of the Hollingsworth Masonic Lodge #355 F&AM. Survivors include his loving wife of 19 years, Debbie Yarber Brown, of Hollingsworth; father, Buffalo Bill Brown, of Baldwin; daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Sammy Beck, of Cornelia; daughter and fiancé, Megan Brown and Andrew Akers, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Joel and Lynn Stewart, of Baldwin; brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Angela Brown, of Hollingsworth; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Stewart, of Baldwin; and Samuel "Trey" Hubert Beck III, of Cornelia. Funeral Services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2016 at Mountain View Baptist Church with Pastor Chad Parker and Pastor Anthony Cook officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Masonic Graveside Rites. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel.
