Walter R. Dowdy

Walter R. Dowdy, age 64, of Clarke County, Georgia formerly of Stone Mountain, Georgia passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019. Mr. Dowdy was born on May 24, 1954 in Lithonia, Georgia to the late C.D. Dowdy and Eva Strawn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Richard Troy Dowdy. Survivors include his sisters, Linda Masters, of Alto; Marcia Dowdy, of Alto; Frances Bradley, of Winder; brothers, Danny Dowdy, of Cornelia; Kenny Strawn, of Marietta; and numerous nieces and nephews. No Formal Services will be held. Memorial Donations may be made to United Way.
