W. Scot Damroze

W. SCOT DAMROZE, age 46, of Flowery Branch, formerly of Banks County, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013. Mr. Damroze was born on December 31, 1966, in Gwinnett County, Georgia; son of Joan Lewallen and Kenneth Ray Puckett of Baldwin and Vilnis Damroze of Lavonia. Scot was a Paramedic with Puckett EMS in Cobb County. He was formerly employed with the Douglas County Fire Department and Clark EMS as a Paramedic. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughters, Tara Damroze, Savannah, GA and Savannah Damroze, Opelika, AL; son, Sean Damroze, Opelika, AL; sisters, Tammie Marie Damroze, Martin, GA and Erika Leigh Harris, Gumlog, GA; brother, Karlis Terry Damroze, Lavonia; step-brother, Justin Lee Puckett, McKinney, TX; grandparents, John A. and Myrtle Lewallen, Baldwin, GA; step-grandmother, Betty Joy Puckett, Denton, TX; and twelve nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Kenneth McEntire and Captain Jake Lonas officiating. Interment will follow in the Line Baptist Church Cemetery with full EMS honors provided by the EMS Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at the funeral home.
