Vivian Hulsey Mcconnell

Vivian Hulsey McConnell, age 66, of Mt. Airy, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 3, 2016 following an extended illness. Mrs. McConnell was born on January 25, 1950 in Toccoa, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father, Rudolph Ezra Hulsey. Mrs. McConnell was of the Baptist Faith. She was retired from Habersham Medical Center. Her main objective in life was to be a caretaker of others. Survivors include her husband: Kenneth J. McConnell, of Mt. Airy, GA; mother: Carolee Hulsey, of Mt. Airy, GA; daughter and son-in-law: Tisha and Dean Allen, of Lula, GA; sons and daughters-in-law: Preston and Michelle McConnell, Lee's Summit, MO, Christian and Sharon McConnell, Baldwin, GA, and Shannon and Shanda McConnell, Cleveland, GA; sister and brother-in-law: Glenda and Pat Coleman, Gainesville, FL; sister: Sheila Owen, Aiken, SC; grandchildren: Zack, Josh, Madelin, Savannah, Noah, Hope, and Brandon McConnell; and step grandchildren: Bliss and Austin Allen and Andrew and Isaiah Sullens. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Dr. Rick Quarles, Shannon McConnell, and Preston McConnell officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at the funeral home.
