Virginia "Ginger" Bower Wunderlich

VIRGINIA "GINGER" BOWER WUNDERLICH, age 86, of Demorest, Georgia passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013. Mrs. Wunderlich was born in Salisbury, Maryland on October 25, 1926; to the late Ammon William and Eva Bowling Bower. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 12 siblings. Mrs. Wunderlich attended Demorest Methodist Congregational Federated Church. She was a retired nurse and above all a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. Survivors include husband, Van E. Wunderlich, Demorest; daughter, Joy Lynne Wunderlich, Cleveland, son, Jon Martin Wunderlich, Lawrenceville; sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Donald Ewald, Spring Hill, FL; two grandchildren, Raleigh Wunderlich and Charlotte Wunderlich. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Demorest Methodist Congregational Federated Church with Rev. Joyce Acree officiating. Entombment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia.
