Violet Webb Ballew

VIOLET WEBB BALLEW, age 89, of Demorest, a life long resident of Habersham County passed away Saturday, January 2, 2010. Ms. Ballew was born on November 21, 1920 in Habersham County, GA to the late David and Ella Evans Webb. She was preceded in death by her son, Tommy Lee Ballew. Ms. Ballew was a graduate of Baldwin High School and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include son, Reed Ballew, Cornelia; daughters, Ramona Stowe, Demorest and Marcheta O'Kelley, Bluffton, SC; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family. No formal services will be held.
