Vicky Hunter Rowden

VICKY HUNTER ROWDEN, age 49, of Cornelia, Georgia, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at her residence. Ms. Rowden was born on April 26, 1959 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late L. J. and Doris Lee Griffin Hunter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tad Hunter, and her grandmother, Jeanette Morgan. She was a member of the Hillside Baptist Church. Survivors include: her daughters and sons-in-law: Brandi and Thong Phouangphet, Cornelia, GA; Amanda and Josh Gibson, Carnesville, GA; her grandchildren: Kaitlyn Gibson; Justice Phouangphet; Jazmine Phouangphet. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2009 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Phillip Yarber officiating. Interment will follow in B. C. Grant Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the South Chapel from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. on Friday.
