Vickie Jenkins Phillips

VICKIE JENKINS PHILLIPS, age 54, of Helenwood, TN and formerly of Habersham County, GA, died Wednesday, August 13, 2008 following an extended illness. Mrs. Phillips was born on June 1, 1954 in Stephens County, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Jenkins, and a daughter, Julie Ann Harris. Survivors include: her husband: Steve Phillips, Helenwood, TN; her mother: Barbara J. Grant, Clarkesville, GA; her daughters and sons-in-law: Holly and Scott Palmer, Cleveland, GA; Christy and Trent Fricks, Mt. Airy, GA; her grandchildren: Carlin Fricks and Camryn Fricks, both of Mt. Airy, GA; her sister: Laura Jenkins, Clarkesville, GA; her brother and sister-in-law: Sam and Melinda Jenkins, Clarkesville, GA; her niece: Morgan Jenkins, Clarkesville, GA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 15, 2008, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, with Rev. Brian James officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Grace Gate, P.O.
