VERA B. STEELE, age 90, of Baldwin, Georgia passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2013. Mrs. Steele was born in Moultrie, Georgia on May 30, 1923, to the late Thadeus P. and Judie Bryan Green. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and a homemaker. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Wendell Hill, Baldwin; son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Phyllis Pruitt, Orange Park, Fl; four grandchildren, Alice and Brian Paulk, John and Carrie Pruitt, Larry Pruitt and Glenna and Chris Bray; six great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2p.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Gene Todd officiating. Interment will follow in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7p.m., Monday, December 30, 2013, and from noon until the service on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at the funeral home.
