VERA TANKSLEY ANSLEY, age 78, of Reidsville, N.C. went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Annie Penn Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 P.M., Saturday, January 17, 2015 in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. A naitive to Habersham County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Georgia Belle Simmons Tanksley and had lived in Reidsville for the past 25 years moving here from Georgia. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by a daughter: Denise Ansley, a great grandson: Maddox Seegull, and a brother: Charlie Tanksley. Survivors include a son; James Ansley and wife Pat of Tucson, AZ, a daughter: Deborah Guevara of Reidsville, NC, a brother: Rev. Telford Tanksley of Cornelia, GA, sisters: Emma Evans of Mt. Airy, GA, and Brenda Sosebee of Cleveland, GA, 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. The family will see friends 2:00 till 2:30 P.M. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Citty Funeral Home of Reidsville, NC, is in charge of arrangements.
