Ulysess Caudell

ULYSSES CAUDELL, age 63 of Demorest, GA, died Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at the Habersham County Medical Center. Mr. Caudell was born on March 17, 1943 in Banks County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Hoke Caudell, Sr., brothers, Theodore and Everage Caudell as well as a sister Betty Jo Caudell. Mr. Caudell was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church there he was past director of Brotherhood and a member of the Marantha Sunday School Class. He was an Army National Guardsman for eight years and was the sanitation manager for Fieldale Farms with 26 years of service. Survivors include: his wife: Linda English Caudell, Demorest, GA; his mother: Addie Newsome Caudell, Homer, GA; mother-in-law: Blattice English, Flowery Branch, GA; Sons and Daughters-in-law: Wesley and Denise Caudell, Demorest, GA; Steven and Karla Caudell, Cornelia, GA; Sisters: Catherine Boone, Atlanta, GA; Evelyn Willoughby, Homer, GA; Sandra Jean Caudell, Homer, GA; Brother: Hoke Caudell, Jr., Homer, GA; Brothers and sisters-in-law: Harry and Frances Caudell, Mt. Airy, GA; Douglas and Patricia Caudell, Toccoa, GA; Grandchildren: Arlin John, Adam, Addie (due in August), Miranda, Jackson and Nathaniel Caudell. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2006 from the Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Stephens and Rev. Richard Pletsch officiating. Burial will follow in the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Caudell will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. to lie in state until the funeral hour on Saturday. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday.
