Troy Elliott

TROY E. ELLIOTT, age 73 of Griffin, Georgia died Monday, February 26, 2007 following a brief illness. Mr. Elliott was born on March 29, 1933 in Asheville, North Carolina to the late Nub and Ada Elliott. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother Carman Elliott. Mr. Elliott was a United States Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Elliott was retired from The Milligan Company with 44 years of dedicated service. Survivors include: his wife of 54 years, Annie "Peggy" Elliott, Griffin, GA; his son and daughter-in-law: Roderick "Rod" and Tammy Elliott, Turnerville, GA; his sister: Juanita Long, Seneca, SC; his brothers: Clyde Elliott, Asheville, NC; Ray Elliott, Pendleton, SC; Mack Elliott, Seneca, SC; two grandchildren and their spouses: Tabitha and Thomas Elger, Wilmington, NC; Joshua and Brittany Elliott, Ft. Campbell, KY. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2007 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest from Rev. Hal Cason officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Rabun County DAV Chapter #15 and the Habersham County American Legion Post #84.
