Tracy Lewis Cross

Tracy Lewis Cross, age 41, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Mr. Cross was born in Habersham County, Georgia, on November 22, 1969. He was the son of Dwayne Heaton, of Baldwin, Georgia and Linda Ann Porterfield, of Cornelia, Georgia. Mr. Cross was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Lewis Cross, grandmothers, Estelle Sisk, and Minnie Payne. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Cross was a Volunteer fireman. Survivors include his parents, daughter; Destiny Cross, Toccoa, GA; sisters, Denean Arnold, and Tilynn McAllister, both of Baldwin, GA, Missy Galloway, Demorest, GA, Bobbie Lee Burns, and Sherrie Barron both of Cornelia, GA; brother, Dean Cross, Mt. Airy, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 3, 2011, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA with Pastor Mike Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA. Arrangements are in the care of the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
