Tommy Ray Ferguson

Tommy Ray Ferguson, age 52, of Cornelia, GA, died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Ferguson was born on June 23, 1957 in Habersham County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson attended the Trinity Full Gospel Church and was an automobile and truck mechanic. Survivors include: his mother: Betty Nicholson Ferguson, Cornelia, GA; his sister and brother-in-law: Bonnie and Benny Bearden, Cumming, GA; his brother and sister-in-law: Larry and Frances Ferguson, Cornelia, GA; his special friend: Wanda Galloway, Baldwin, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2009 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Dennis Taylor and Rev. Verner London officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ray Turpin officiating at the graveside. The family will receive friends at the North Chapel from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2009.
