Tammy Smith Craven

Tammy Smith Craven, age 40, of Mt. Airy, Georgia, went to be with The Lord on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 following a sudden illness. Mrs. Craven was born on October 4, 1975 in Gainesville, Georgia. She was a member of B.C. Grant Baptist Church. She was a waitress with Stew-N-Que Restaurant for over 10 years. She is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Tim Craven. Survivors include her husband, Matthew Craven, of Mt. Airy; mother and step-father, Deborah and Bobby Gabrels, of Baldwin; father and step-mother, Billy and Ann Smith, of Baldwin; daughters, Jessica Craven, of Mt. Airy; Cassidy Craven, of Mt. Airy; son, Maxwell Craven, of Mt. Airy; grandson, Brentley Craven, of Mt. Airy; step-sister and spouse, Candace and Chad Wade, of Mt. Airy; step-brother and spouse, Derek and Sherri Gabrels, of Demorest; grandmother, Jonnie Gravitt, of Baldwin; and mother-in-law, Diane Craven, of Cornelia. Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Scott Smith and Rev. Terry Rice officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 28, 2015 at the funeral home.
