Tally R Thomas

Tally R. Thomas, age 71, of Alto, GA, died Saturday, August 1, 2009 Mr. Thomas was born on August 29, 1937 in Hall County, Georgia to the late Elix and Mary Loggins Thomas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his half-brother, Homer Savage. Mr. Thomas was formerly employed by the Department of Transportation and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: his sons: Timmy Thomas, Dawsonville, GA; Jimmy Thomas, Alto, GA; Joey Thomas, Cornelia, GA; his brother: Johnny Thomas, Murrayville, GA; 2 grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from the Westview Cemetery, Lula, GA, with Rev. Cecil Thomas officiating. Memorials may be made to the Tally R.
