Susie Long Watts

Susie Long Watts, age 70, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016. Mrs. Watts was born on August 13, 1945, in Habersham County, Georgia to Irma Lou Long of Baldwin and the late William Robert "Bill" Long. She was also preceded in death by her brother, William Robert "Bobby" Long, Jr. Susie was a member of Demorest Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her mother, survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Johnny Watts, Cornelia, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Bryan Kaminski, Cornelia, GA; son and daughter-in-law, David and Donna Watts, Hope Hull, AL; sister and brother-in-law, Polly and Bryant Shedd, Cornelia, GA; and grandchildren, Ivy, Abby, and John David Watts, Jr. and Cole Kaminski. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Dr. Tom Mewborn officiating. Interment will follow in Level Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, August 5, 2016, at the funeral home.
