Sudie Lee Kesler Blalock

SUDIE LEE Kesler BLALOCK, age 90 of Banks County, passed away April 30, 2009 at BJC Nursing Home. Mrs. Blalock was born on September 3, 1918 in Banks County, GA to the late George Mason Kesler and Sudie LeCree Cochran Kesler. She was a preceded in death by her husband Ralph Blalock. Mrs. Blalock was a member at Damascus Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for a number of years. She retired from Chicopee Manufacturing Company with 12 years of service. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Doug Garrison, Winder, GA and Emi and Melvin Evans, Baldwin, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Janalu Blalock, Carnesville, GA, Jerry and Susan Blalock and Ronnie and Carolyn Blalock, both of Banks County, GA; sister, Ruth Cash, Maysville, GA; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Damascus Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Rogers and Rev. Harold Ledford officiating. Internment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Gene Todd officiating. The family will received friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2009.
