Steven Joseph Napoli

June 24, 1957 — February 1, 2023

Steven "Steve" Joseph Napoli, age 65, of Clarkesville, Georgia formerly of Hillsborough, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.

Steve was born on June 24, 1957, in Brooklyn, New York and adopted by the late Joseph and Mary DelVecchio Napoli. Growing up in Brooklyn he enjoyed playing stickball, softball, Strat-O-Matic (baseball card statistics game), ice hockey, and football. He was a diehard Yankees, NY Football Giants, and NY Rangers fan. He also enjoyed listening/watching and had a collection of classic movies and 50s music.

He attended Mary Queen of Heaven grammar school, Nazareth High School, and St. John’s University, where he majored in Sports Administration.

He is survived by his best friend and "Partner-In-Crime" of 22 years, Daisy Pascual, also of Clarkesville, Georgia and formerly of Hillsborough, New Jersey, “stepdaughter”, Angela Kollmer Stevens and her husband, Matthew Stevens of Charlotte, NC.

He was of the Catholic Faith and attended St. Mark Catholic Church and Cool Springs United Methodist Church in Clarkesville.

His sense of humor was legendary, he was the life of the party and can talk to anyone about almost anything especially the statistics of his favorite sports teams/players for any given year.

A Private Service will be held in New Jersey at a future date. No Formal Services will be held in Georgia.
