Snow Cooley

Snow D. Cooley, age 97, of Cornelia, Georgia formerly of Alto, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. Mrs. Cooley was born on June 20, 1920 in White County, Georgia to the late Thomas Jefferson and Hattie Quinn Dorsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Cooley; daughters, Barbara Ann Nix, Kathy Gerrells; son, Neil Gerrells; and brother, T.J. Dorsey. She attended Friendly Mission Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and William Arrowood, of Cornelia; sons and daughters-in-law, Haskel Q. and Theada Gerrells, of Toccoa; Billy W. and Elaine Gerrells, of Royston; 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren. Interment will be held in Eglington Cemetery, 320 Kings Hwy, Clarksboro, NJ 08020.
