Shirlee L. Tworek

Shirlee L. Tworek, age 81, of Demorest, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. Mrs. Tworek was born on October 7, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois; a daughter of the late Robert Richard and Lucille A. Nelson Kurtz. She was also preceded in death by her son, Robert Stephen Gass. Shirlee was the self-employed owner of Numbers Etc., Inc. Survivors include her loving husband of 43 years, Ronald G. Tworek of Demorest; daughter and son-in-law, Ronda Jo Wynveen and Chris Parr of Lula; daughters: Debbie Gass of Oakwood, Georgia Erb of Illinois, and Nancy Ann Gass of Cleveland; son, Scott Gass of Illinois; brother, Richard Kurtz of Illinois; and grandchildren: Jeremy Wynveen, Matthew Parr, Gregory Gass, Shannon Keane-Yuhasz, Lenny Galle, Larry Galle, Fred Waterbury, and Shaun Waterbury. A visitation service will be held from 6-8 pm on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia.
