Shane C. Murray

SHANE C. MURRAY, age 43, of Demorest, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness. Shane was born on November 19, 1969, in Demorest, Georgia; son of Frank and Geraldine Maney Murray of Cornelia. He was employed with Mar-Jac Poultry in Maysville, Georgia. Mr. Murray was an avid Falcons and Braves fan. He enjoyed fishing and above all enjoyed spending time with his family. Shane was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Murray, Jr. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Dolly L. Murray, Demorest; son, Dalton Shane Murray and his fiancé, Rebekah Loudermilk, Demorest; daughter, Reese Morgan Murray, Demorest; brother, Adam Murray, Cornelia; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fred and Dolly Butler, Hiawassee; sisters-in-law, Laura Whiting, Hiawassee and Olivia Butler, Commerce; brothers-in-law, Matthew Butler and Fred Butler, both of Hiawassee; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with family and friends officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:45 p.m. just prior to the memorial service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
