Sarah Gillespie Fenner

Sarah Gillespie Fenner, age 93, of Demorest, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017. Mrs. Fenner was born on November 15, 1923, in Helen, Georgia; a daughter of the late John Marvin and Ione White Gillespie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Haig Fenner and brother, John Acry Gillespie. Mrs. Fenner was a retired library director with 35 years of service. Sarah was a member of the Methodist Congregational Federated Church of Demorest. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Frances Fenner, Demorest, GA; son, Edward Haig Fenner, Jr., Gaffney, SC; and sister, Laura Marvine Gillespie Geiger, St. Petersburg, FL.
