Sammie Allison, age 71, of Mount Airy, Georgia, passed away on, Wednesday, April 6, 2016. Mr. Allison was born on March 17, 1945 in Hall County, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Griff and Mary Sue Merck Allison; daughter, Jane Michelle Allison Pitts; brother, Clyde Allison. He was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Kenneth Lindsay, of Mt. Airy; sister, Ann Taylor, of Demorest; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmie and Lynnette Allison, of Cornelia; 2 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 3 nephews; 1 niece; several great nieces and nephews; and several close friends.
