Sally Campbell Armour Seay

Sally Campbell Armour Seay, age 57, of Cornelia, Georgia, died Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the Habersham County Medical Center. Mrs. Seay was born on March 8, 1952 in Douglasville, Georgia to the late Thomas and Ferroll Bone Aikens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Campbell, her second husband, James William Armour, her sisters: Alice Aikens, Claudie Aikens, Diane Collett, Margaret Armour, and Linda Presley; and a step-grandson, Dwayne Helton. Mrs. Seay was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was a member of the Mt. Airy Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband, John W. Seay, Cornelia, GA; her daughter: Tracy Campbell, Alto, GA; her step-daughters: Melissa Pittman, Nicholson, GA; Sandra Chappell, Hollywood, GA; Donna Jean Fuller, Gainesville, GA; her sons: Burt Campbell, Alburn, GA; Greg D. Armour, Demorest, GA; her step-son: Wayne Armour, Demorest, GA; Several grandchildren; her aunt: Nola Mae Bennett, Gainesville, GA; Many nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives also survive. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2009 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Bishop Ronald Wilson and Rev. Ray Turpin officiating. Interment will follow in the Living Mission United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. on Saturday.
