S. T. GOSS, JR., age 60, of Clarkesville, GA, died Sunday, April 15, 2007 at the Habersham County Medical Center. Mr. Goss was born on January 13, 1947 in Habersham County, Georgia. He was a truck driver and a member of Stone Pile Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife: Violet Fitzgerald Goss, Clarkesville, GA; his father and mother: S. T., Sr. and Lorene Collins Goss, Clarkesville, GA; his daughter: Risa Hampton, Clayton, GA; his son: Jonathan Goss, Clarkesville, GA; his sister: Doris Mize, Clarkesville, GA; his brothers: Charles Goss, Gainesville, GA; Jerry Goss, Clarkesville, GA; 4 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, with Rev. Tony Goss officiating. Burial will follow in the Stone Pile Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
